Strip-story 1
You could use the main stages of a pōwhiri for a strip-story task. Give each student in a group a picture representing one stage of the process. Use the pictures on resource sheet 8.3. Get the students to work together to decide the correct sequence for the different stages shown in the pictures.
A more difficult strip story would be to provide strips of text without picture clues. More information about how to make a strip-story can be found under the heading "Using tasks and activities" on this page.
