Multiple choice
Create multi-choice descriptors of the steps in a pōwhiri, to accompany the pictures on resource sheet 8.3. Get the students to decide which descriptor best applies to which picture. For example, for the picture of the visitors at the gateway waiting to be welcomed onto the marae, you could give the students the following options:
